Artist's Comments

The final rendered version.

I've added a few not so hidden stuff in there( to give you an idea for example why her name is Charlie).

I'm not satisfied with her hair, what can I say, I got lazy, so don't mind it.

The background was taken from ~Guts80's stock images.
I enhanced it in Photoshop to have that gritty comicbook look. The original is located here.

Dedicated to *kittynn. It's because of her post of seeing this in color that I was inspired to finish it.

It's a very nice pic with great coloring, altho, I havea slight problem with her body structure, I don't think it's natural for a twist in that part of the spine, but it's still good ^_^

It turned out great! I like the way you do hair, I've been meaning to ask you, do you use the smudge tool for that? I actually think the hair looks better than the jeans, which look a bit too airbrushy and soft. Perhaps a displaced denim texture would look a bit better. Great background choice...it seems to fit her well!

The narrowness of the waist looks a lot more believable now, for some reason...
:iconnergen:
You've some fortified skill there. The twist in her torso looks a little too twisty (which is why I'm betting her right arm is covering the "seam";).

I personally; do not buy posters or prints or anything. I have other things to buy :)

Thanks. But the problem, I have to admit, is not in the way she's twisting (I had my friend try twisting that way, and she can seeing she's a dancer) but on how i rendered the shirt. I got lazy in the creases part.

Thanks for the comment nonetheless.

Whee, I'm a whore!

Well, I did use denim textures for her jeans. It turned out soft and airbrushy because i shrank the original from an 18x24 300dpi file into this. Alot of the details disappeared.
