Its 2008 and I wanted to start off with this particular image as my first post. This is in loving memory of ~cherigirl who, tragically, left this world too early. The colors, attitude of this piece, the overall feel of it was based on the few but precious times I corresponded with her through emails, notes and messages. I wanted to keep that George Petty Pin-up look that I did for her in 2006.
I'd like to add also that, the reason I gave her a waving hand, is not because she's saying goodbye. No. No. I kind of see her saying to all of us "I'll see you when I see you." And that brings tears into my eyes.
Her brother and friends on DA are putting up a Memorial Site for her, please support them in any way you can.
For Cheri, you are missed.
