I find more satisfaction on drawing characters in such settings and situations than in the usual pin-up and action poses. There's this challenge in trying to convey the characters' personalities and their relationship to one another in one image.

These characters are based on reference images and text descriptions from the commissioning party, so no actual character designs were made of them prior to this.

Just a little trivia; the alignment of the stars in relation to the moon is an almost exact placement to Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night.
