That Intuos must be something else for you to render a drawing this smooth. I'm working on getting my own too. No more little 4x5 tablets for me.

Having both an entry-level tablet and a professional one, I do feel the difference between the two, specially how the digital lines react to the sensitivity of the tablet.

But, like I always say, its not the tool makes the artist, its the artist that wields the tool. ;)

True enough. I'm getting the hang of doing my digital inking with an optical mouse and I'm going to try coloring with one too. Still, I've been thinking of trying some digital drawing, and that, one can't really do well without a tablet.

I tried using an optical mouse to color (way back then), with little success. The reason is that I've always used my right hand for the mouse, and I'm a lefty. Switching the mouse on my left hand only disoriented me. So I use a mouse on the right side, and a tablet on the left.

I guess I've permanently wired my brain for drawing with the left, navigating with the right. :)

That's gotta be cool. I'm a dyed-in-the-wool righty; I can't use the mouse and tablet simultaneously. I mean, I could teach myself, but it never crossed my mind. No wonder you're so efficient. :)
