Supergirl is © 2005 DC Comics. All Intellectual Rights Reserved. Originally created by Mort Weisinger and Otto Binder, based on Superman by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

I'd been meaning to do some fanart, but was thinking who to draw.

When I was a small kid, the first character I've ever drawn was Superman, I decided to draw his cousin, Kara Zor-El. This is a simple pencilled drawing that took a few minutes, scanned and roughly colored in Photoshop. The whole thing took about two hours to finish.

Hair was based on the previous version while her suit is based on the animated version. The jacket is inspired by the Superboy (Kon-El) in Reign of Supermen.
